How It Began
From the Levant to the wine country
Our story starts in our family kitchen — the kind where the door is always open, the table is always full, and the food never stops coming. Maza wasn't a concept to us. It was just how we ate: small plates, big flavors, everyone sharing.
We opened Olives And Agave in Santa Rosa to bring that spirit to Northern California. The name holds two symbols close to our hearts — the olive branch, ancient emblem of peace and hospitality, and the agave, a nod to the land we now call home.
Every dish on our menu carries a memory. The hummus is made from a recipe passed down through many generations. The lamb kafta is grilled the way it was at every family gathering we can remember. We cook with love, and we hope you taste it.
